Use Your AI Tool to Better Understand Political Ad Delivery

Discover the enhanced capabilities of Adnuntius MCP for political ads, offering real-time insights, reach forecasting, and product terms

We've been quietly expanding what our Model Context Protocol (MCP) server can do, and the latest additions are directly relevant for anyone managing political advertising inventory or planning campaigns on the Adnuntius platform.

The Adnuntius Admin MCP can now answer substantive questions about political ad products and forecast expected reach for new campaigns — directly from a conversational interface, without logging into the UI or running manual queries.

What it can do
Three new capability areas are now live.

Product terms on demand. Ask the MCP what the conditions are for a political ads marketplace product and it returns everything: minimum CPM, budget requirements, bid strategies, smoothing options, allowed creative layouts, mandatory targeting constraints, and the full list of buyer teams with access. The screenshot below shows this for Political Ads Denmark — 44 buyer teams, eight creative layout types, and mandatory publisher exclusions, all returned in a single conversational turn.

Political advertiser and topic visibility. The MCP can list all political advertisers available to a team, show which elections they're declared against, what budgets they've declared, and crucially — which are bookable and which aren't (and why). In our test, the tool correctly identified that five out of six advertisers on the Adnuntius AS team couldn't be booked because their political declarations were incomplete, flagging exactly what needed to be fixed before a campaign could go live.

Campaign reach forecasting, including location targeting. You can ask the MCP to estimate how many impressions a campaign on a given political product would generate — with or without geographic targeting. For example, a query for all 25 Danish towns returned approximately 107 million expected rendered impressions for a given week, with a breakdown showing that Copenhagen alone dominates the total and that the final five smaller towns added only around 2 million impressions on top of the first 20. The tool handles the location resolution automatically, including resolving "København" to "Copenhagen" in the Adnuntius location database.

Technical note
The MCP connects to Adnuntius's production environment and returns live data. The reach estimates shown are inventory ceilings before competing campaigns are subtracted, and before CPM floors are applied - so they represent the upper bound of what's available, not a guaranteed delivery forecast. Applying a specific CPM to the query will narrow the estimate to ad units above that floor.

The political advertiser and product queries ran from a network admin user. The reach forecast ran from the Adnuntius AS demo team, demonstrating that the capability is available to team-level users, not just administrators.

What's next
We're continuing to expand the MCP's coverage of the Adnuntius platform. If you're a publisher, agency, or platform partner who wants to explore what's possible with the Adnuntius MCP in your own workflow, reach out to stian@adnuntius.com.
